Early national signing day for high school athletes expecting to sign Division I letters of intent is today.
Clovis, Portales, Melrose and Texico are not expecting any signees.
Though Division II signing day is not until February, Eastern New Mexico University head football coach Kelley Lee is expecting five junior college signees today.
NCAA rules prohibit him from commenting on any prospect until he has a signed letter of intent.
The regular signing period for all levels of college football is Feb. 7-April 1.
