Clovis FFA students take home honors
CLOVIS — Eleven Clovis FFA students took home honors at the District IV FFA Leadership Development event last week, according to a press release from Clovis Municipal Schools.
In the Jr. High Illustrated Talk competition, Thomas Palla finished fourth, John Hisel finished fifth, Cara McWilliams finished 10th and Syan Olguin finished in the top 20.
Hisel also finished fifth in the Jr. High Prepared Public Speaking competition.
In the Chapter Prepared Public Speaking competition, Jack Palla finished fourth and Kelsey Renteria finished ninth.
In the Job Interview competition, J’Lea Fuqua finished third and Marie Albin, Kynde Moon and Alexia Lemke finished in the top 15.
In the Extemporaneous Speaking competition Jacob Hisel finished in the top 20.
