Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
Today’s family in need: This single mother is on her way to a new life, but she needs help to have a normal Christmas.
Two of the three children are over the age limit to receive toys from the Salvation Army, according to Lt. Kelly Berggren, but the family could still use some help.
“Her story touched my heart as she left an abusive relationship with her three children and is trying to start a new life as a single mom,” he said. “Not much has gone her way as her kids are acting out the aggression they have come to know.”
The family receives counseling and requests help in order to have a normal Christmas.
