The Bobcat Boxing Club will host an invitational 2 p.m. Saturday at the Roy Walker Community Center.

Between 20 and 25 matches are expected. Local fighters include Isabel Garcia, Angel Sandoval and Roman Cristan.

Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for first responders and military and $5 for children 12 and under.

The Bobcat Boxing Club was formerly known as the Clovis Boxing Club before it was renamed in honor of the late Bob Stevens.

Clovis’ American Little League is registering players for baseball and fastpitch softball, beginning Saturday.

From Feb. 3-17, signups will be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays and 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m. Thursdays at The Master’s Centre in Clovis. The cost is $65 per player, with a $5 discount for siblings.

All parents/guardians must bring a birth certificate and either three documents proving residents or one document showing school enrollment.

Clovis Youth Volleyball is holding registration for its upcoming season at Roy Walker Community Center.

Registration will be held 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, running through Feb. 22. Registration is also available 8 a.m.-noon weekdays at 1515 Gidding.

The registration fee is $60 for either the junior league (grades 3-4) or senior league (grades 5-6). Both leagues are co-ed.

Games will be played Thursday nights, with one slate of Saturday games, at Roy Walker.
