Curry Road 9 from Curry Road L to Curry Road M and Curry Road K from Curry Road 9 to Curry Road 8 will undergo repairs next week.
That’s according to a press release from Curry County Road Superintendent Dennis Fury.
The road department is requesting residents seek an alternate route during the road work, scheduled for 6:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday until Feb. 23, and to minimize use of the roads for three to four hours after the oil is applied.
According to the press release, “Driving on fresh oil not only damages the road, but makes a mess of your vehicle.”
The work will be completed by PaveCon and is funded by the Local Government Road Funds, according to the press release.
