Hold on to your throwback fashion pieces

Your spring 2018 wardrobe should be the most versatile and fun year of dressing ever. You already have everything you need, so it shouldn’t be a task finding something to wear. Because spring fashion in the new year is vintage inspired and doesn’t rest in any era, you’re halfway there.

Don't toss out your older blazers and dresses with shoulder pads. The same things you may be planning to get rid of will be on the racks next season.

Some of the most wearable looks this season are fringy, romantic florals and vintage prints. Very feminine corseted waist dresses and billowy sleeves are keepers. They were the showstoppers for the runway spring collections.

Do you love polka-dots? Well, you’re going to see this print showing up in different colors, cuts and styles.

You or someone you know owns some old rugged denim dying to be reworked into a new outfit. Deconstructed denim is still very popular at the moment. Make your denim work for you again by using patches, laces and random rips here and there.

I never thought I'd see the day but I'm so excited about the kitten heel trend. They're everywhere in many styles, especially mules. Plus, you can wear them in more places than you would your traditional heel. It’s safe to bring them out or purchase a new pair in support of the trend.

If you have the 1980s vintage jewelry, hold on to it because those bold oversized earrings are back.

Lastly, keep your see-through accessories and clothing and the color for the season is lavender.

Remember, the fashion industry is evolving with what’s considered good fashion. It’s not what you wear it’s how you wear it and anything old can be made new again.
