ENMU track team jumps to No. 14

PORTALES — Last week, Eastern New Mexico University's men's indoor track and field team set a new school record for national ranking, with the No. 22 spot in the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll.

Change the record again. The Greyhounds are 14th this week.

The team is paced by Marcus Parker and Kenneth Lloyd, who have posted automatic qualification in a combined three events. Parker ranks second in the nation in the 200m dash and third in the 60m dash. Lloyd is third in the NCAA Division II in the high jump. Ivar Moinat has also provisionally qualified in the 800m run and ranks 41st in the country.

The NCAA Division II Championship meet begins March 9 and is hosted by Pittsburg (Kansas) State.
