Portales city offices closing early

PORTALES — City offices will close at 11 a.m. Friday, allowing Portales city employees to attend funeral services for Mayor Sharon King.

King died March 1. Services are at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Portales.

City offices will reopen Monday, according to a city news release.
