CLOVIS — The United Way of Eastern New Mexico seeks nominations for its inaugural Patricia Bazar Community Volunteer of the Year award.
The United Way’s board of directors created the award in memory of Bazar, a staff member and volunteer who died in 2017, to recognize individuals who give broad volunteer service to the communitiy.
The award will be given at the United Way’s annual banquet April 5 at the Yam Theater. A $500 donation will be made to the local charity of the recipient’s choice.
Nominations will be accepted through March 23.
