Road closure in effect until next week

PORTALES — A road closure will remain in effect until the latter part of next week while a pipeline is filled in, according to officials.

After repairs were completed to a pipeline near Hacienda Trailer Park — located off of U.S. 70 in southwest Portales — a road directly into the park will be closed into next week, according to a press release by the city of Portales.

A detour has been provided, but motorists are advised to watch for workers in the area.
