• Skywarn Spotter Training Class — 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the North Annex of the Clovis-Carver Public Library. The Albuquerque National Weather Service will train volunteer weather spotters for the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network. Information: 575-769-7840

• Quay County Weed Management Workshop — 8 a.m. to noon at the Tucumcari Convention Center, 1500 W. Route 66, Tucumcari. The free program will include workshops on weed management in alfalfa and sorghum. Attendees must RSVP before March 30. Information: 575-461-0562

• Child Find Preschool Screening — 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Floyd Municipal Schools, 1564 New Mexico 267, Floyd. • New Mexico Mission of Mercy Remote Area Medical Clinic — 6 a.m. at Curry County Events Center. Free dental, medical and vision care services will be provided. Information: 865-579-1530

• Portales Great American Cleanup — 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Memorial Building. $75 prizes will be given for the most trash collected, the biggest group and the most canned food donated. Information: 575-356-6662

• Clovis Home, Garden and Lifestyle Show — 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Clovis Civic Center. Features garden and lifestyle products along with demonstrations and educational sessions. Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children under 5. Information: 575-762-4342
