Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
Clovis and Portales rank among the 20 safest cities in New Mexico, according to a recent report from Safewise.com, an independent home security review website that analyzed data from the FBI’s crime reports and statistics.
Cities were ranked by violent crime (aggravated assault, murder, rape, and robbery) per 1,000 people. Portales ranked 12th with 4.19 crimes per 1,000 people and Clovis was 16th (5.61)
Corrales (0.82), Los Alamos (1.02), Sunland Park (1.47), Lovington (1.50) and Raton (2.15) make up the Land of Enchantment’s five safest cities, according to Safewise’s report.
