CLOVIS — The two people injured in Monday’s crash on East Mabry Drive remained hospitalized Tuesday in Lubbock.
A Clovis police news release said Jeffrey Jones, 64, of Diamond Springs, California, was listed in serious condition at University Medical Center. Barbara Jones, 61, also of Diamond Springs, was listed in stable/satisfactory condition at UMC.
The police news release said Jeffrey Jones was east bound in a Nissan van when he attempted to turn into the Pilot truck center about 1 p.m. Monday.
The van was struck by a west bound semi-truck, sending the van into a ditch.
The truck driver was not injured.
