PORTALES — Today’s Portales Municipal Schools Board of Education meeting will focus on financials.
A public hearing for the district’s tentative budget for the 2018-2019 fiscal year will be held, as well as the discussion of salary schedules for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
The board will also consider the addition of a cross country track and field team to the Portales High School athletics roster.
Other items include consideration of the district’s applications to the New Mexico PreK program and the State Bilingual Multicultural Education program.
