Sundance station to close

CLOVIS — The Sundance Shell gas station located at 710 E. First St. in Clovis will close around mid-May after 23 years in business, according to owner Patty Barnett.

Patty Barnett said the gas closing is due to her impending retirement. The station has two employees.

Her husband Jody Barnett, who owns oil wholesaler Barnett Oil Co. located across the street at 617 E. First St. said that company will remain in business.
