CLOVIS — Barry Elementary School will have a new principal and Clovis Municipal Schools will have a new director of health services when school resumes in the fall.
Tori Teague is the new principal at Barry, and Carissa Caroland is the new director of health services, according to a CMS news release.
Teague began her career with the Portales Municipal School District in 2011 as a fifth-sixth grade dual language teacher. In 2013, she began teaching in Clovis.
She succeeds David Fredericks, who is being transferred to Clovis High School, where he will be an assistant principal, said Superintendent Jody Balch.
Caroland was employed as a home health case manager and Medicare manager, and has been with Plains Regional Medical Center as a charge nurse, the release said.
She succeeds Rhonda Sparks who retired.
