CLOVIS — Prince Street Baptist Church is hosting a two-week long tent revival and Pastor Tommy Hohstedt said he hopes those who attend come away with “a deep, deep love for a mighty God.”
“We want the hearts of our people to be revived, to be brought back to the place of love for God that they once had,” Hohstedt said.”
The revival began on Monday and runs through June 2 each night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Prince Street Baptist Church, 421 N. Prince St.
Hohstedt said the event features music, a different message from Pastor Ryan Denton from El Paso each night and a chance for those in attendance to respond to that message.
He joked that with the rainfall eastern New Mexico has seen this week, the revival has already made its mark.
“As you can see it caused it to rain already so we’re excited about that,” Hohstedt said.
