CLOVIS — The Eastern New Mexico Water Utility Authority could have a new home following today’s meeting.
The board is scheduled to vote on a lease agreement for a new office space.
The ENMWUA currently works out of 809 Parkland Drive, Suite A, in Clovis, but Administrator Orlando Ortega said they are looking to downsize to be more efficient.
Ortega said the new potential office space is in the Sitterly Professional Center located at 801 Pile St., which is more centrally located in Clovis.
Also on the agenda for today’s meeting, scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Memorial Building in Portales, 200 E. Seventh St.:
• The board will discuss engineering services for project management for Finished Water Two.
Ortega said those tasked with the engineering services will oversee the pipeline project as it’s being constructed.
• The board will select a date for a workshop, which Ortega said will be used to update its members about the ENMWUA’s activities and elicit any direction they would like to pursue.
• The board will vote on a pair of routine annual items, its Open Meetings Act resolution and meeting schedule.
