Board member's court appearance postponed

CLOVIS — A court appearance scheduled Monday morning for a Clovis Municipal Schools board member accused of inappropriately touching a woman was continued to next month.

Kyle Snider, 47, is now scheduled for a docket call Sept. 25 on two petty misdemeanor battery charges stemming from an incident March 24 at Guy Leeder softball complex. Following an investigation, police charged Snider in May for allegedly twice touching the backside of a concession stand employee there.
