1968: Enrollment at Clovis Municipal Schools was at 8,552, said Assistant Superintendent Davenport Beasley.
The number was 327 more than reported on the first day of school, three days earlier.
This year, as of Tuesday, Clovis schools had an enrollment of 8,126, said Deputy Superintendent of Instruction Joe Strickland.
