Registration begins Monday for Clovis Girls Athletic Association’s upcoming basketball season.
The season will begin Oct. 13, with boys and girls divisions in grades 3-6.
Players can register 9 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays at 1520 Mitchell St., or 6 p.m.-7 pm. Sept. 10 and Sept. 17 at Spencer Park’s softball fields.
Registration is $60 per player, cash only, and due at the time of registration. Any registrations after Sept. 21 are subject to a $10 late fee.
The association is also seeking coaches and sponsors for the season.

Registration is ongoing for co-ed volleyball through Sept. 10.
The games will be played Monday evenings at Roy Walker Recreation Center, starting Sept. 10.
There are entry fees of $150 per team and $25 per player.
Payments may be dropped off at 2000 Mitchell St. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until 5 p.m. Sept. 6.

Colonial Park Golf Course will hold the third annual Blake Berry Golf for Tots charity tournament on Saturday.
The tournament format will be a two-man, 27-hold tournament with nine holes each for scramble, best ball and alternating shot formats.
There will be three flights, with prizes for the top three teams in each flight.
Registration is $100 per person. Proceeds benefit youth golf camps.

Eastern New Mexico University Softball coach Kira Zeiter will conduct a pair of camps later this fall.
Zeiter and her staff will host a team camp on Sept. 9 and an individual camp on Oct. 20.
The team camp is restricted to grades 9-12, while the individual camp is for grades 9-12 for the morning session and grades K-8 for the afternoon session.
Team camp fees are $60 per player, while individual camp fees are $40 per player. Anybody attending either camp can pay the day of, but are asked to RSVP to [email protected]. A waiver form for the camp is required and available on the softball news section at goeasternathletics.com.
Addtionally, the ENMU softball coaching staff is putting together an official visit weekend Sept. 14-16 for potential 2019 recruits. Participants must fill out specific NCAA paperwork by Sept. 10, with forms available on he softball team website.
