New Mexico Racing Commission members are slated to be in Tucumcari on Oct. 4 and in Clovis on Oct. 5, NMRC Executive Director Izzy Trejo said.
Trejo said commissioners are scheduled to hear proposals for the state’s sixth racino at the site visits, which also will include Sept. 28 in Lordsburg.
Three different investors are expected to make proposals in Clovis. One proposal each is scheduled in Tucumcari and Lordsburg.
Trejo said locations for the meetings have not been scheduled, but they will be announced prior to the events and meetings will be open to the public.
