Plateau purchasing Comcast cable TV

Plateau Telecommunications, Inc. has signed an agreement to purchase Comcast cable TV assets in the Tucumcari market, according to a Plateau news release.

“The transaction is expected to close by the end of September and will enable Plateau to expand its fiber services more quickly in Tucumcari,” the release said.

“Plateau plans to upgrade the legacy coaxial cable TV system to a Fiber to the Premises (FTTP) system which will make Plateau Fiber services, including gigabit internet, video and voice, available to all locations the Comcast system passed.”
