Xcel Energy promotes two
With two promotions from within its ranks, Xcel Energy said in a news release Monday that it’s “positioning Texas and New Mexico operations for strong leadership for years to come.”
Brad Baldridge, of Amarillo, will become director of Customer and Community relations. Farwell native Casey Meeks will fill the position Baldridge vacates as senior director of distribution operations in Texas and New Mexico.
Both men are professional engineers in both states; in their new roles, Meeks “will oversee design, construction and Distribution Dispatch Center” and Baldridge will oversee economic development activities across the bi-state service area.
Xcel’s operations in the two states serve approximately 375,000 customers and manage 15,000 miles of distribution lines, said the release from spokesman Wes Reeves.
