PORTALES — The city of Portales will begin work on Monday to replace a fire hydrant at the corner of 17th Street and S Avenue C, according to a city press release.
The affected area will include from Avenue A to Avenue C, from 17th Street to 18th Street and south of 18th Street from Avenue B to S Main Street.
Water service will be interrupted for several hours.
