CLOVIS — A Clovis man has been sentenced to six years in prison for criminal sexual contact of a minor, according to a news release from District Attorney Andrea Reeb.

David Garcia, 46, was sentenced Wednesday after a jury found him guilty on Aug. 22.

Prosecutors said the incident occurred at Garcia's home, in October of 2014, where the victim was spending the night.

Judge Drew Tatum ordered that in addition to the prison time, Garcia register as a lifetime sex offender, serve 5-20 years on probation and five years to life on parole.
