SAN ANGELO, Texas — Trenadey Scott scored twice, and Angelo State further solidified its second-place ranking in the Lone Star Conference with a 4-0 win over Eastern New Mexico Friday night.

Scott opened matters with a 27th-minute goal, which was quickly followed by Broderick’s tally.

Avery McNeme scored five minutes into the second half, and Scott added the exclamation point with 27 minutes left.

The Greyhounds (4-4-2, 2-2-1) actually outshot the Rambelles 14-13, including 7-6 on goal.

Kira Miller got the shutout with seven saves. Taylor Jackson had a pair of saves for Eastern.

The Greyhounds are back in action Sunday with a noon MDT contest at Texas-Permian Basin.
