The Eastern New Mexico men's soccer team will host a Winter ID Camp 10 a.m. Jan. 27 at Greyhound Stadium and the soccer practice fields.

The camp is for players in grades 9-12 to work with the ENMU coaching staff and showcase their talents in a variety of drills and workouts.

The camp includes two sessions, 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m.-4:30 p.m., with an on-your-own lunch break. Check-in will be 8:45 a.m.-9:30 a.m. before the camp.

Athletes are expected to bring their own gear, including shoes for indoors in case of inclement weather. Water and athletic trainers will be available on-site.

Activities will begin with drills and move to live action games, with remarks from head coach Jon Fridal and time for athlete to ask questions about what to expect at the collegiate soccer level.

Camp cost is $75, and online registration is available at enmusoccercamps.com.

The High Plains Cornhole Association is hosting a #CornholeforaCause holiday tournament 9 a.m. Dec. 8 at the Curry County Fairgrounds Pavilion.

Proceeds benefit the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program.

Team entry fee is either $65, or $40 with each player bringing an unwrapped children’s gift of $10 in value.
