Neither sophomore Hannah Hughes nor freshman Kaitlyn Doughty posted a time in the final round. Doughty qualified with a 2.4 in the long go, while Hughes scored a 2.8.
Senior Shannon Jackson was eighth in the short go and the average in goat tying, going 7.3 seconds in the first round and 7.9 in the short go. Harley-Ann DeLeeuw tied for sixth place in the barrel racing short-go for at 14.51 seconds, but did not place in the average.
All of the men’s team points were scored by sophomore Trey Jackson, who tied for third place in the long round of ... He failed to record a time in the short go.
Luke Hisel and Wesley Gudgell tied for ninth place in the long round of team roping at 7.1 seconds, but posted a no time in the finals.
The team will have a few weeks off before competing again at the Ranger College Rodeo March 21-23.
