CCC president candidate for Santa Fe position

SANTA FE — Clovis Community College President Becky Rowley will participate in a candidate forum on Monday as one of four finalists for the position of Santa Fe Community College president.

Rowley was one of five finalists announced late last month to succeed interim President Cecilia Cervantes who is set to step down this summer. One of the finalists, Kimberlee Messina, has since withdrawn after accepting the interim vice president of instruction position at Clovis Community College in California.

Rowley on Tuesday declined comment. She confirmed her public forum is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday in the Jemez Rooms on the SFCC campus.

Rowley has served as president of CCC since 2011 and chair of the New Mexico Independent Community Colleges since 2015.
