1969: Lynell Skarda, an attorney who also served on the board of directors at Citizens Bank in Clovis, was featured speaker at the annual Distributive Education Banquet.
About 60 people attended the dinner.
A quartet from the high school vocal department performed three songs, followed by a comedy reading by Linda Sargent. Jerry Vaughn gave the D.E. creed.
