Police seek to identify man in robbery

CLOVIS — The Clovis Police Department is looking for help identifying a man accused of armed robbery Friday night.

Officers were dispatched to a financial institution on the 1500 block of North Prince Street at 10:43 p.m. They were told by two employees that a suspect came in, brandished a handgun, threatened to shoot the workers and stole property and money before fleeing. Neither employee was injured during the incident.

The suspect was described as an approximately 5-foot-8 and 200-pound, light-complected male in a dark blue jacket, light blue button-up shirt, gray dress slacks and black dress shoes, with a glove on his left hand and a light gray “newsboy” style flat cap.
