Update: City truck found

CLOVIS — The city vehicle stolen Friday from Hillcrest Park was recovered early Tuesday evening, according to city officials.

A 1995 Ford Ranger belonging to the Parks & Recreation Dept. and reported stolen Friday afternoon from outside the golf course was found unoccupied behind a residence on Almond Tree Lane, according to Clovis Police Chief Doug Ford.

Police were still processing the scene at press time.

Assistant City Manager Claire Burroughes said she wasn’t aware of a city vehicle being stolen in at least 20 years.
