Trump’s rhetoric should be condemned by all

I am the white great-grandmother of four beautiful, intelligent great-grandchildren who are bi-racial and bi-cultural.

They are the future of this country and I am sure will make great contributions to it.

We need to get over the idea that we live in a white, male-dominated society.

The father of one of these children served this country in the military and the other one is still serving. How must they feel to have their commander in chief tell them to “go back to the country you came from?”

They and their ancestors go back many, many, generations.

We must all condemn such rhetoric by the leader of the free world.

I am sure the Statue of Liberty is shedding tears.
