The neighbor communities of Texico and Farwell will resume their July tradition this Saturday with the annual Border Town Days celebration.
Saturday’s events will begin with a parade that will start at 10 a.m. local time at Griffin Street in Texico and finish before noon local time at Farwell City Park. The parade is one of few in the country that starts in one state and ends in another.
The parade will be followed by an afternoon celebration in the park, with various booths, food vendors and music acts.
Border Town Days is annually scheduled for the final Saturday of July.
