Two indicted on child sex crime cases

CLOVIS — Grand juries on Friday returned indictments against two Clovis men for unrelated felony child sex crime cases in the Ninth Judicial District.

Dino Paul Lucero, 33, was indicted on nine felony counts, including seven counts of criminal sexual penetration in the first degree (child under 13) for incidents dating back to 2015.

An investigation started July 9 following a crime stoppers tip, according to court records. Lucero’s alleged crimes started soon after he was released from prison in 2015.

Jerry Ingram, 23, was indicted on two fourth-degree felony counts of criminal sexual penetration (child 13-16) from a period between January and March of this year. An investigation started May 30 and charges were filed June 6, according to court records.

Lucero’s arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 12 at 9 a.m. in the court of Judge Fred Van Soelen. Ingram’s next court date was yet to be scheduled as of Tuesday.
