LAS VEGAS, Nevada — No Ultimate Fighting Championship for Clovis’ Harvey Park. At least not yet.
The 33-year-old Park — a Clovis sheriff’s deputy and Melrose High graduate who won the Legacy Fighting Alliance lightweight Mixed Martial Arts championship in April — fought Omar Morales Tuesday night in Las Vegas, Nevada, part of Dana White’s Contender Series on ESPN+.
At stake was a UFC contract.
The Venezuelan-born Morales remained undefeated (8-0) by recording a technical knockout of Park on punches at 1:06 of Round 2.
Park, who fell to 12-3 as a result, declined comment when contacted by The News.
