CLOVIS — A portion of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Sandoval Street in Clovis will be closed to traffic for eight days to install a pipeline for the Eastern New Mexico Water Utility Authority, according to a city release.
The portion of MLK between Mendenhall and Brady streets, and the portion of Sandoval between Zulek Street and Avenue M will be closed 6 a.m. today through Aug. 21.
The closures will allow for installation of a 33-inch water line for the authority’s Finished Water II pipeline and Cannon Air Force Base lateral.
