Service academy info night set

ALBUQUERQUE — Staff from U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich’s office will host a service academy information night 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday at Eldorado High School.

Staff will answer questions and give prospective applicants and families the chance to speak with representatives from each military service academy.

Four of the five service academies— the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy —require a Congressional, Vice-Presidential, or service-connected nomination. The U.S. Coast Guard Academy does not require a nomination.
