PORTALES — The Portales City Council will seek an approval of sale of city property during their regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday evening.
The property in question will be the Benson Subdivision, Block 10, Lots 3 and 4 (bounded by Nogal and Maple and N. Avenue.)
Other items on the agenda for the 6:30 p.m. meeting at the Memorial Building include:
• A request to grant a sewerline easement with Lonnie and Leisha Bickham, owners of a property on 300 E. Lime St.
• A request to authorize an application for financial assistance from the New Mexico Water Trust Board.
• A request to authorize the filing of an application to the Federal Aviation Administration for airport aid and the obligation of sponsor matching funds and the authorization to accept the resulting grant offer for the reconstruction of runways 1-19 and 8-26.
The council will hold an executive session at the end of the meeting to discuss the purchase, acquisition or disposal of real property or water rights.
