Road scheduled for chip seal overlay

PORTALES — The Roosevelt County Road Department plans to start a chip seal overlay Tuesday on a portion of South Roosevelt Road 2, according to a county release.

The portion of road set for the overlay runs from NM 236 to South Roosevelt Road AD. Work is anticipated to continue through Thursday. Motorists are advised to drive slowly through work areas and watch for equipment and personnel.
