CLOVIS — Thursday's snowfall means Clovis Municipal Schools will start on a two-hour delay Friday, according to a CMS news release.
“District officials will be monitoring the weather throughout the night and early morning (Friday) and will evaluate conditions as they develop,” the release said.
“Watch for updates — if conditions worsen or fail to improve, the decision to cancel school will be made by 7 a.m. Friday morning.”
Various Thursday evening events for the district have either been canceled (tutoring) or postponed (elementary music performance). The Clovis-Hobbs volleyball game was postponed until Friday. The new game times are: JV at 4 p.m. and varsity at 5:30 p.m. Friday's preschool classes and driver's education classes have been canceled.
Also, the La Casita King & Queen coronation planned for tonight has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. Friday due to weather conditions.

• Clovis Christian will begin at 10 a.m. Friday
• Farwell schools are on a two-hour delay.
