CHS basketball ticket sales start Monday
Clovis High School will begin sales of reserved season tickets on Monday, according to a release from the school.
Season ticket holders from the 2018-19 season have until Nov. 12 to renew their tickets or inform the CHS athletics office of intent to relinquish their seats.
Beginning Nov. 13, all remaining tickets will be sold to the public.
Tickets are $135 per seat, with a $25 discount for active duty or retired military with a military ID card. The tickets are good for all regular season girls and boys games, with separate ticket purchases required for any district tournament or state playoff games.
The girls’ home opener is Dec. 3 against Lubbock Estacado, and the boys’ home opener is Dec. 6 against Cleveland.

ENMU sets trunk or treat, game
The Eastern New Mexico University baseball team is holding its annual Halloween Baseball game Tuesday evening following a trunk or treat by the athletic department.
The event was moved from Wednesday due to anticipated cold weather.
The Greyhounds will compete in a light-hearted environment while dressed in costumes at 5:45 p.m at Greyhound Baseball Field.
The trunk and treat evening will begin at 4 p.m. in the parking lot behind the left field fence. There will be a base-running opportunity for kids and a costume contest with Greyhound baseball gear as a prize.

Softball homer derby Saturday
The Eastern New Mexico University softball program is hosting a Nov. 2 home run derby at Greyhound Softball Field.
The 9 a.m. derby is open to students, faculty and community members and will include a 9 a.m. individual competition and a noon team competition.
Entry is $15 per person or $50 per five-person team. All contestants receive 20 swings, with teams required to divide their 100 swings equally.
Additional swings are available in each competition. Individuals can purchase up to 10 additional swings for $1 each. Teams may purchase up to 20 additional swings, available in increments of $5 for five swings divided equally among teammates.
