Floriculture team to be honored

PORTALES — The Portales Municipal Schools Board of Education will celebrate a silver rating from its Portales High School floriculture team when it meets Monday evening.

The 6 p.m. board meeting at the PMS administration building will celebrate the team, along with receipt of a student council report during its student organization reports.

The board will also consider adopting a laundry list of policy revisions, ranging from programs for pregnant and parenting students to release time for religious instruction and truancy issues.
