• Portales Rotary flag fundraiser and community project — For $50 per year, the Portales Rotary Club will put out and pick up United States flags at businesses, churches, or homes in Portales on eight holidays: Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Patriot Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day.
