Municipal election deadline today

CLOVIS — If you’re considering a run for the March municipal elections, today is the deadline to have your voter registration information current with the New Mexico Secretary of State’s Office.

Anybody wishing to run in the March 3 election must be a registered voter in the community, district or ward they wish to represent.

Confirmation of or updates to registration details can be done either at the local county clerk’s office or online at:

nmvote.org

The filing date for municipal elections is Jan. 7. The city of Clovis will have candidate filing packets available beginning Monday at City Hall or online at:

cityofclovis.org
