Curry County Area Educational Retirees
Our December program was a performance by Clovis High School Chamber Choir, under the direction of Sean Galloway, called “Music for the Season.” The Choir selected seven songs with which to delight our ears and it was surely a Christmas treat for everyone! They are such a talented group!
Our 2020 CCAER Officers were installed by Dianne Davis for the coming year: Eileen Massey, president; Sandi Bates, secretary; and Andrea Bigelow, treasurer. Pam Wallace as membership chairman and Jamie Wider as our new legislative chair were recognized in our non-elected positions.
Retired Curry County educators and staff are invited to meetings at K-Bob's Steakhouse at 11 a.m. for lunch and 11:30 a.m. for the program. The next meeting will be Jan. 7, and a meeting with local legislators is scheduled.
