Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
PORTALES — The Emergency Food Assistance Program in Portales will be suspended until further notice as organizers look for a permanent location from which to operate the program.
There will be a meeting with Kathy Shafer, president of the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico and others involved with the program this week to provide the community with more information and to discuss options for a permanent location.
The meeting will be noon Thursday at the Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce.
