Roosevelt planning block grant hearings

PORTALES — Roosevelt County is planning four hearings for public input on potential Community Block Development Grant projects.

The hearings are scheduled for noon and 5:30 p.m. Jan. 31 and Feb. 13 at the commission room on the first floor of the Roosevelt County Courthouse at 109 W. First St.

Projects are limited to $500,000 without certified cost estimates and $750,000 with certified cost estimates that benefit persons of low and moderate incomes.

Anybody unable to attend the hearings can send written comments to Carol Flores at the same address.
