Early voting ends Saturday

CLOVIS — Saturday is the final day voters can cast an early ballot prior to the Tuesday municipal elections.

• In Clovis, early voting sites are the Clovis City Clerk’s office (8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays) and the North Plains Mall police substation (10 a.m.-6 p.m. through Saturday).

• In Portales, early voting is 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays at the Memorial Building.

• In Texico, early voting is at Texico City Hall 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays.

On Saturday, all early voting locations in each municipality will be open 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Absentee voting applications can be mailed up to 5 p.m. Thursday, and can be requested through each municipality’s clerk’s office.
